PostSubject: greetings and salutations   Fri Oct 17, 2008 1:24 pm

Just wanted to introduce myself on this board, and I hope I can do what I can to promote it!

My Name is Chris Filan, I've been active in the Charleston music scene for 8 years now. I've been a singer-songwriter most of that time, focusing on honky tonk style country, rockabilly, bluegrass, and the like. I also had a fairly decent run as the lead singer of Kings of Dillon, a labor of love that occupied all my music time for about 3 years.

I currently set up all my shows around town, and tend to play places with a more underground feel, but lately due to the economy, have started making myself more mainstream, I guess some would call it "growing up".

Hope to hear from ya'll soon!
