My Name is Chris Filan, I've been active in the Charleston music scene for 8 years now. I've been a singer-songwriter most of that time, focusing on honky tonk style country, rockabilly, bluegrass, and the like.
We are a local band made up of transplants from West Virginia and Maine. We have been performing locally for a little over a year. We are made up of saxophone, trombone, guitar, bass, and drums. We are an original funk band that attempts to fuse funk, hiphop, electronica, and dixieland jazz. We normally gig in downtown Charleston, but are looking to branch out into surrounding cities and states. Our webpage is www.myspace.com/magicbronson. There you can here some of our latest tracks and ...

I started this forum for local musicians to interact, find other musicians, find other bands, ECT.

There are 12 users at this point but, there is no activity what so ever...

I tried to get 1 post going... only to be busted on about how the sight looked.

I will continue to try and get people to sign up but, if nobody posts anything, What's the use?

I will continue to make changes and try to improve the site...

The rest is up to you...

Moved to Charleston Back in July. Looking to join an existing band or start from Scratch. Looking to play mostly covers. But I do have a few"ideas" for original tunes. I would like to play on the weekends for a few bucks or whatever. 20 years experiencs on Bass.15+ years on Drums. Could handle rhythm guitar if I got off my ass and practiced at it more.
